LOVELY
I just donated £30 to Glasgow City Council. Isn’t that lovely. They gave me a parking ticket because my pay and display ticket fell onto the dashboard (face up with the information showing) and “wasn’t properly displayed”. Isn’t that lovely? How considerate of them.
What else is lovely about councils? Let me think.
Isn’t it lovely that they can afford to pay for cretins to walk our streets and give you a parking ticket even though you’re actually not doing anything wrong? Isn’t that lovely.

Isn’t it lovely how you do everything you can to be a model fucking citizen but you still get shat on time and time again? Isn’t that just fucking lovely. You work full time, you pay your taxes, you don’t break the law, you pay and display, you hold the door open for people, you’re considerate, you don’t make noise on the fucking train, you pay for your own dental treatment, you pay for your own glasses, you pay for your own prescriptions, you pay your way. And then you pay some more.
Just another stealth tax. I’m sick of money. I’m sick of people wanting my money. I’ve just been told that Halifax are now going to charge you £1 for every day you’re in an overdraft, agreed or not. Isn’t that awesome? I get to pay £30 a month (maybe £31 on special months where I’m extra lucky) for the pleasure of having an overdraft that I had when I was 18 and still can’t pay my way out of. Isn’t that just… fucking… lovely.
Oh, but there’s a silver lining to all this! Glasgow City Council now have an online system where you can pay your fines from the comfort of your own home! Isn’t that just FUCKING LOVELY.
